Synthetic biology⚙️ & gene circuits🧬 to program our microbiome🦠

Hi, my name is Javier and I am launching my research group at the University Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona. I am interested in using synthetic biology and synthetic gene circuits to program the human microbiome, mostly gut and skin bacteria.

I recently obtained an ERC Starting Grant to program time in cells.
